The tour starts with pickup from your accommodation in Ruka, Kuusamo or Rovaniemi. Pickup and drop-off are available from most hotels and apartments within approximately 10 km of these areas. From there you travel north through Finnish and Norwegian Lapland to Tromsø, Norway.

The price of €1200 per person (minimum 2 people) includes round-trip transportation from Ruka, Kuusamo or Rovaniemi to Tromsø, an English-speaking guide, one night's hotel accommodation in Tromsø, the Northern Lights hunting excursion, the whale-watching excursion and lunch onboard the whale-watching cruise. Dinner, breakfast, personal expenses, travel insurance and motion-sickness medication are not included.

No. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. Whale sightings likewise depend on wildlife behaviour and natural conditions. Your guide monitors the weather and aurora forecast and chooses the most suitable areas to give you the best possible chance.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult, and infants under 2 years old can join free of charge. The tour is not suitable for children under 2, or for people who are prone to severe seasickness. It involves long road journeys between Finland and Norway, so participants should be comfortable spending extended periods in a vehicle.
